The SuperHantamKuatKuat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rully Hatala should have stopped the shot. Rully Hatala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artha Barus got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Darman Martanegara in the 16 minute of the game. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. When Jojon Habib fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperHantamKuatKuat's protests and gave Jojon Habib a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Jojon Habib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rully Hatala having to interfere. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rully Hatala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rully Hatala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Rully Hatala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of the match. With 96 minutes on the clock, Adjat Nasution commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Rully Hatala, was totally fooled by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SuperHantamKuatKuat throughout the match.
