Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Arie Schenkhuizen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La France FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olle Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Tafalla could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Olle Casillas however easily saved by the left post. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Casillas. Olle Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Olle Casillas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute. If Gustavo Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olle Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fulvio Vittorio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, La France FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilio De la Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Frasco who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Lorenzo Cazalla in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La France FC's Didac Vassaras. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olle Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. La France FC's Luis Vázquez was substituted for Fulvio Vittorio. After some careless play in the La France FC defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olle Casillas. The La France FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olle Casillas should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Olle Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 97th minute of play. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
