Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Meng Yan Jing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Abandon All Hope's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meng Yan Jing came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jiang Sang Qing kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Abandon All Hope's Michal Arendarski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meng Yan Jing having to interfere. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meng Yan Jing. Meng Yan Jing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Abandon All Hope's Michal Arendarski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Abandon All Hope's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meng Yan Jing came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Meng Yan Jing. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Abandon All Hope from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Arendarski in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Meng Yan Jing made a huge save. Dedê de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ye Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Meng Yan Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Gilbert Gorzkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abandon All Hope and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Gorzkiewicz. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meng Yan Jing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Abandon All Hope's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Abandon All Hope's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ye Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
