A well placed Abram Sarmiento short distance shot in the 10th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 14 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Wojtowicz came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Plachetka was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when unicestwiacze's Zygmunt Pruss shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbyszko Plachetka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Plachetka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 58th minute, Colombia's Pascual Carballar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pascual Carballar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Colombia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pascual Carballar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. unicestwiacze's Damiano Negri was substituted for Radowit Kiszkiel. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of unicestwiacze:s goal. Pedro Manzanares had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Zygmunt Pruss's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Lehman kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 71st minute of play forced unicestwiacze's goalkeeper Zbyszko Plachetka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Zygmunt Pruss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-3 in the 72 minute of play. After 75 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. 78 minutes into the match, unicestwiacze's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Zbyszko Plachetka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fryderyk Kon fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored unicestwiacze's protests and gave Fryderyk Kon a yellow card for diving instead. Fryderyk Kon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Zbyszko Plachetka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Eric Monday Zuidema made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Zbyszko Plachetka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play. In the 98th minute, Ignacio Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The Colombia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
