If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Milio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Di Luca's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Di Luca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Frascone fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Di Luca to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Magliocco in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Bellone notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Frascone fc booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Magliocco. Victorino Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the last second Benito Sanz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Filippo Magliocco in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Milio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Filippo Magliocco in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Milio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Frascone fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordaro Cazorla to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Filippo Magliocco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Cosimo Di Luca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Bellone in the 65th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Carballo's late challenge caught a Frascone fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Magliocco's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Milio having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Ermanno Picca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordaro Cazorla struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frascone fc. With a little luck, Frascone fc's Victorino Milio got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Frascone fc got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Di Luca. There was no doubt that Frascone fc were the better team. Frascone fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
