FC Excellent Winners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Sonny Beckeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Alebeck got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bengt Nyberg. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Kielberg in the 27th minute of play. Gesner Philippe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. George Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Henry Carlsson with Georg Wenerdahl as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 40 minutes in the game, Rickard Kielberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noel Seide having to interfere. Henry Carlsson made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Georg Wenerdahl immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 48 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Alphonse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Kielberg to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Seide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Törnkvist having to interfere. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 70 played minutes FC Excellent Winners got a freekick which was hit by August Apelqvist. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Kielberg came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the FC Excellent Winners players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jonathan Alphonse hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Bengt Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Excellent Winners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Haiti booed when FC Excellent Winners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Carlsson made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Georg Wenerdahl immediately put the ball in play. Nils-Åke Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jean Marie Alcius fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jean Marie Alcius a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Marie Alcius kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a free kick in the 86th minute. FC Excellent Winners's George Törnkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Excellent Winners from getting a goal against them. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Nyberg in the 97th minute of the match. Haiti were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Excellent Winners to leave the ground with a draw.
