Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Eraslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Abdulkadir Eraslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Pedro Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulkadir Eraslan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Ronaldo Fenomeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Fenomeno made a kick off. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. In the 55th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 55th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Arantes in the 62nd minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miau Stars's Anton Bröms was substituted for Olavo Mota. Miau Stars's Jean-Claude Van Damme was substituted for Edmílson Arantes. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The supporters of Peru booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. 88 minutes into the game, Egídio I threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulkadir Eraslan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Jean-Claude Van Damme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
