Dan Alebeck's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Kielberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Rickard Kielberg, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 32nd minute, Georg Wenerdahl had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jean Marie Alcius charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Kielberg in the 40th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernso Constant during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernso Constant hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Dan Alebeck got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bengt Nyberg. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Hääger in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Bengt Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Carlsson made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rickard Kielberg immediately put the ball in play. In the 55th minute Rickard Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Kielberg in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Sonny Hääger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Hääger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 62nd match minute, FC Excellent Winners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Alebeck to maneuver through the defense. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nils-Åke Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Lundqvist in the 89th minute of play. During the 90th minute of the match Ernso Constant completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ernso Constant a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 91 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Ernso Constant.
