Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Koby Wright got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 4th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Stamen Tekeliev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Canada's Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamen Tekeliev might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stamen Tekeliev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17thth minute of the game Jan Dixon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Jan Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Regan Jordan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Roberto Teixeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Koby Wright went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rohan Watson got away a dangerous shot. But to his dismay, Stamen Tekeliev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eric Hill in the 30 minute of the game. In the 35th minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Stamen Tekeliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mccarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, Richard Mccarthy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Carter George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Dixon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stamen Tekeliev to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jax Williamson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jax Williamson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. After a defensive mix-up in Canada's zone, Stamen Tekeliev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jax Williamson came out of the goal and Stamen Tekeliev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 64th minute of play. Quinto Ampudia took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. If Quinto Ampudia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Ampudia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Quinto Ampudia notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Canada's Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Vladimiro Marquez in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canada's Eric Hill. If Richard Mccarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Stelian Murgu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Murgu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Burton made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond. Jan Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Jan Dixon went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Dixon made a great header on Canada's corner, it was just that Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Playa Malvín had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
