After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Joaquin Prats fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abdulkadir Eraslan quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Fenomeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldo Fenomeno could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Flavinho Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Miau Stars getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Egídio I hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Mota came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Arantes. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkadir Eraslan. Abdulkadir Eraslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Ronaldo Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Sousa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miau Stars made a substitution. Anton Bröms replaced Olavo Mota. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miau Stars.
