An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play forced MasterBets's goalkeeper Gigel Zăvoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Marius Macovei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 28th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Zăvoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Constantin Costăchescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedat Tuğlu in the 33rd minute of the match. Macos Graciani made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MasterBets's Dan Zafiu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Macovei, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigel Zăvoiu. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. MasterBets's Gong Zhi Peng was substituted for Marius Macovei. Gong Zhi Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gong Zhi Peng took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MasterBets had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
