Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiro Messias started the match with the kick off. Nando Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ramiro Messias sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramiro Messias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chile were furious when Gerardo Pozo was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 28 minutes into the game, one of Chile:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Messias in the 33rd minute of play. Nando Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Ramiro Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 70 played minutes Escuadrón Mercenario got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Abastas. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevon Abancens in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Nando Toscano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Escuadrón Mercenario's Peli Abalos was substituted for Enrique Abeijon. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute. A well done corner resulted in Xavier Figueroa drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Escuadrón Mercenario's goalkeeper.
