Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefan Niemojewski took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Dziurowicz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Hieronim Dziurowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoni Poremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Kajetan Bendyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antoni Poremba, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Antoni Poremba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Burowski during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filip Burowski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Hieronim Dziurowicz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Niemojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Poremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Varsovia's Antoni Poremba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antoni Poremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mexico had played much better football throughout.
