Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivar Bjurström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacindo Baezabal kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ivar Bjurström made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacindo Baezabal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes of play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Rigoberto Bastiaro made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 45th minute, Rigoberto Bastiaro made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Rigoberto Bastiaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 59th minute of play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Bastiaro scored 1-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glorioso Deportivo Cali made a substitution. Tzvetan Mudrov replaced Teofilo Mascarañas. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Rigoberto Bastiaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigoberto Bastiaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartosz Wicherek in the 79th minute. Rigoberto Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glorioso Deportivo Cali. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Bastiaro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Bartosz Wicherek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. The Honduras fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Glorioso Deportivo Cali were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
