The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teo Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Teo Fidensio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Teo Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Federico Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rafael Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Teo Fidensio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play forced EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's goalkeeper Rafael Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Federico Xacintu 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Teo Fidensio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Cordarryl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Fidensio in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Teo Fidensio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Teo Fidensio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Teo Fidensio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Teo Fidensio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Teo Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Fidensio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Teo Fidensio sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Xacintu in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Federico Xacintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Federico Xacintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Teo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Clodio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jairo Maore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Clodio to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Cordarryl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero had played much better football throughout.
