Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Bruno Moneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Bruno Moneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Moneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Moneda went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Bruno Moneda in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The corner ended in Braulio Castulo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 26th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Silvio Rainerio hit a great ball. Bruno Moneda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Moneda in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Bruno Moneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Moneda in the 57th minute of play. Bruno Moneda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Silvio Rainerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Braulio Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Anastasios Machlas was substituted for Bruno Moneda. 70 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Anastasios Machlas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When Silvio Rainerio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Rainerio couldn't finish the play. Silvio Rainerio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Edilberto Sanes fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's protests and gave Edilberto Sanes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edilberto Sanes hit a great ball. When Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Anastasios Machlas in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Franquis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Anastasios Machlas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
