Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mihăiţă Afloarei made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Afloarei came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Fútbol Club's attack was well implemented in the 13th minute, but when Joel Abeloos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Didi Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Arriaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Romero came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sergio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Afloarei came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Didi Fútbol Club's Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of play forced Didi Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergio Romero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Didi Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Vicastillo. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Sergio Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 59th minute, Miguel Vicastillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Afloarei in the 72nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Didi Fútbol Club's Oscar Natos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi Fútbol Club's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. Luca Rouco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Dante Lacasa had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Jairo Borizar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Didi Fútbol Club succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
