Dobromir Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Ivan Fanuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. • REGINA •'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang De Cheng in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Primeiro. In the 33rd match minute, • REGINA • was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Fanuco to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jeremias Lehoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Primeiro to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Baldomero Emenon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobromir Szarmach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Venezuela's Patricio Costa in the 56th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dobromir Szarmach was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for • REGINA • through an amazing save. Dobromir Szarmach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Markovits, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dobromir Szarmach made a huge save. • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 70th minute of play. • REGINA •'s Andres Guardado was substituted for Baldomero Emenon. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. • REGINA •'s Fryderyk Kanczuszewski was substituted for Laureano Primeiro. • REGINA •'s Meng Chuan Yong was substituted for Csaba Markovits. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Guardado in the 79th minute of play. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dobromir Szarmach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the game, • REGINA •'s Meng Chuan Yong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. • REGINA •'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
