MORPH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ambrosio Estevez in the 5th minute. In the 16th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Carel Rokeloos came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, MORPH's Carel Rokeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Indiano got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Samuel Navarro. In the 34th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Ivan Gil got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santino Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Melquiades Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MORPH's Delmar Udalaitz was substituted for Emiliano Berdaitz. 60 minutes into the match, MORPH's Paulo Eguen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Isidro Lano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Anastasio Lluques made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save MORPH from getting a goal against them. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Melquiades Mambru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 77th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, MORPH's Paulo Eguen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MORPH's Paulo Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of MORPH booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Eguen scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anastasio Lluques made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paulo Eguen immediately put the ball in play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Eguen in the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MORPH had won after a very even match.
