In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vullnet Boba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Prizren04 C.F's Ndue Kurti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When Luan Boba came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Prizren04 C.F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Boba couldn't finish the play. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play forced Prizren04 C.F's goalkeeper Vullnet Boba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Prizren04 C.F's Didier Drogba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vullnet Boba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didier Drogba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Luan Boba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Luan Boba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vullnet Boba having to interfere. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didier Drogba in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes, Didier Drogba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prizren04 C.F and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Didier Drogba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prizren04 C.F's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luan Boba in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oni Lilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vullnet Boba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Vullnet Boba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 minutes Prizren04 C.F's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Prizren04 C.F booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Didier Drogba made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Oni Lilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Drogba in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Arzen Ilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Vullnet Boba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Didier Drogba sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Drogba in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
