Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 4th minute of play. Pan Jian Yong took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions United's Pan Jian Yong. But to his dismay, Pan Jian Yong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Niels Vandamme hit a great ball. Peng De Guang kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pan Jian Yong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Peng De Guang. Alberto Tafalla in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Steve De Wilde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gao Cheng Yun who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lions United's Niels Vandamme to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Niels Vandamme notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert-Jan Coomans in the 40th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lions United's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve De Wilde came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lions United's Steve De Wilde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lions United from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pan Jian Yong to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lions United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Niels Vandamme hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pan Jian Yong to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Lions United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 77th minute of play. Pan Jian Yong took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Lions United's Pan Jian Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd minute of play.
