Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Tychy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witold Koperski made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tymoteusz Tyskie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Zula Przebendowski scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. The corner led Liwocz Brzyska's Wieslaw Komanski to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Zula Przebendowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zygmunt Pietrowski made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 66th minute Jacek Mnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tymoteusz Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Mindykowski in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Liwocz Brzyska's Tymoteusz Mindykowski got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Liwocz Brzyska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
