After a rather tough play, COLDPLAY's Tuna İrfan got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codruț Domuță. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Turan Uluçam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Demir scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 30th minute of play. Turan Uluçam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Domuță in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COLDPLAY were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enginalp Hilal took the corner. When COLDPLAY's Lütfi Özil in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Domuță in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the COLDPLAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of COLDPLAY booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Codruț Domuță made the kick off in the second half. Codruț Domuță scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 minutes, Codruț Domuță made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Domuță came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Demir went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When COLDPLAY's Codruț Domuță in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Demir in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLDPLAY. 84 minutes into the game, Ahmet Demir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 91 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Şuţu. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Demir made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. COLDPLAY had played much better football throughout.
