Glorioso Deportivo Cali's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from John Stones in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 27th minute. Noel Seide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Bastiaro's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Noel Seide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Bastiaro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Bastiaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
