In the 9th minute, Felix Dorval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Jonathan Alphonse notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld. Richard Breckenfeld was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Felix Dorval threw the ball into play from the sideline. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldo Galvão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernso Constant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Breckenfeld. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Richard Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ernso Constant sent off a good shot on target. Gesner Philippe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Richard Breckenfeld made a huge save. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Breckenfeld came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Alphonse slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 31st minute. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Haiti's Richard Breckenfeld threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernso Constant, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quebra Ossos FC's Paulo de Barros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raymond Louis, made in the 38th minute of the game. Richard Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 42nd minute of the match. Ernso Constant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Alphonse got free with Richard Breckenfeld in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A sloppy throw-in by Rodney Emmanuel in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Quebra Ossos FC's Paulo de Barros. In the 63rd minute of the game Rodney Emmanuel made a throw-in which Raymond Louis played forward. Richard Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernso Constant in the 64th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ronaldo Galvão in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Raymond Louis. Ernso Constant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Richard Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernso Constant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gesner Philippe hit a great ball. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernso Constant in the 88th minute of play. Quebra Ossos FC's attentive Elói Branco managed to snatch the ball when Jean Marie Alcius made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. The throw-in from Rodney Emmanuel in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quebra Ossos FC's Paulo de Barros. Quebra Ossos FC's Paulo de Barros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodney Emmanuel in the 95 minute of the game. Haiti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
