The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jordan Porter's late challenge caught a Glorioso Deportivo Cali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Rigoberto Bastiaro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. After 14 minutes of play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Mascarañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Rigoberto Bastiaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 29th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Rigoberto Bastiaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Bartosz Wicherek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Wicherek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Jacindo Baezabal lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 48th minute, Kyle Davies ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. Adam Kos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 66th minute, Bartosz Wicherek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jordan Porter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Jordan Porter hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Adam Kos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Tzvetan Mudrov was substituted for Teofilo Mascarañas. Bartosz Wicherek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tzvetan Mudrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th play minute Bartosz Wicherek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Barrett. 1-9. When the final whistle sounded Glorioso Deportivo Cali left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curacao.
