Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Isaias Lesardo's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute of the game Jose Sanz made a throw-in which Xavier Zoido played forward. 12 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabricio Rosalio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robustiano Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Fabricio Rosalio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Formentera's Isaias Lesardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Diego Tenorio, made in the 24th minute of the game. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fabricio Rosalio made a huge save. With a little luck, Formentera's Fabricio Rosalio got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Hector Covarrubias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 34th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Formentera's Fabricio Rosalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Primitivo Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabricio Rosalio. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Fabricio Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 48th minute of the match Isaias Lesardo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isaias Lesardo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Isaias Lesardo got a free kick in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Fabricio Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Hector Covarrubias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience was convinced that Hector Covarrubias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Rosalio was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Covarrubias in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Rosalio saved Formentera from getting behind. After 65 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Rosalio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Formentera's Fabricio Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 69th minute of play. When Jose Sanz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Sanz couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Fabricio Rosalio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabricio Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 80th minute of the match. Fabricio Rosalio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Santiago Maurin hit a great ball. The excitement rose when Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano after 85 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Formentera's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 9-0. If Leonardo Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Fabricio Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
