An unexpectedly hard shot by Kev Hurtado in the 10th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. Lolo Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Hurtado in the 22nd minute of play. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Kev Hurtado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kev Hurtado hit a great ball. Doriva Saldanha scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 37th minute of the match. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match, Santino Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jose Boldu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kev Hurtado to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo ScrugenFC's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Boldu came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño was substituted for Kev Hurtado. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Renato Tapia replaced Su Yong Zhen. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Colombia's Santino Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Boldu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The audience was convinced that Abram Secada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Boldu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Lolo Moreno got a free kick in the 78th minute.
