Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jacinto Vela got a free kick in the 5th minute. Herb Good showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Britton in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Britton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herb Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Herb Good showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jean Britton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Britton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du Lei Bin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Jacinto Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Herb Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Jean Britton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Britton's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Collin Grimm got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Herb Good when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 59th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Herb Good to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilio Hankins. In the 68th minute, Jean Britton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Jean Britton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Herb Good tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jean Britton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jean Britton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sport Lisboa e Benfica had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
