Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Timčo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Martini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Joachim De Jonghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Simão de Toledo got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Manfred Rudqvist rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Simão de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Manfred Rudqvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Rudqvist in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Bruno Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Manchester United FC's Bruno Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. If Ľubomír Timčo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim De Jonghe took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Bruno Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Martini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Bruno Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United FC's Bruno Martini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of play.
