Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peracal FC's Ronaldinho Maujo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peracal FC's Nicanor Rosete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. Nicanor Rosete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Peracal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Ronaldinho Maujo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldinho Maujo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Rosete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nicanor Rosete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes Peracal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the match, Peracal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicanor Rosete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play forced Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Rosete. Peracal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Maujo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Peracal FC's Ronaldinho Maujo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicanor Rosete was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Maujo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peracal FC's Nicanor Rosete did a great save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camerino Asturianos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Peracal FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bide Alcedo during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Bide Alcedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peracal FC's Nicanor Rosete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Peracal FC from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes, Honorato Donis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peracal FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorato Donis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicanor Rosete could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Rosete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Nicanor Rosete was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Peracal FC's Castulo Cosmen was substituted for Ronaldinho Maujo. Nicanor Rosete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play forced Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Peracal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicanor Rosete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Peracal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
