The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristinel Tomulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Green Zombies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zsigmond Tímár got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zsigmond Tímár came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Venedikt Semenov was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Zombies's players had a chance to rest. Venedikt Semenov made a great header on Green Zombies's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Zsigmond Tímár who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. Walter Carter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 37th minute Walter Carter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Géza Tótfalusi to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Zsigmond Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 51st minute, Zsigmond Tímár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cristinel Tomulescu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Walter Carter got a free kick in the 61st minute. Walter Carter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zsigmond Tímár came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsigmond Tímár to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zsigmond Tímár's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Green Zombies made a substitution. Mihály Hidegkúti replaced Zsigmond Tímár. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Cristinel Tomulescu however easily saved by the left post. Harun Mustafa scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cristinel Tomulescu made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristinel Tomulescu. After 89 minutes of play, Green Zombies's Harun Mustafa made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Hidegkúti's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Venedikt Semenov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristinel Tomulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Green Zombies could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
