Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gil Seixas made the kick off and thus started the match. Eduardo Revuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eduardo Revuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 8th minute of play forced MILAN F C's goalkeeper Eduardo Revuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Seixas. In the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Revuelta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind MILAN F C's goalkeeper Eduardo Revuelta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Aparecido in the 30th minute of the match. Eduardo Revuelta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Revuelta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Gil Seixas came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 41 minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes MILAN F C got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Chorche. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Wellington Aparecido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. MILAN F C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Revuelta, making the score, 1-2. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eduardo Revuelta could save by the left post. In the 79th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Guerreiro in the 80th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Eduardo Revuelta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eduardo Revuelta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eduardo Revuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eduardo Revuelta in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes, Ronaldinho Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MILAN F C and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, MILAN F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. The MILAN F C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
