With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Poremba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoni Poremba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
