The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 莫义朋 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄皓彬 in the 26th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄皓彬, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 莫义朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, 狄皓彬 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 狄皓彬 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 40th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 莫义朋 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Daniel Galeano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Daniel Galeano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 狄皓彬. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

With an all-out effort, Mexico's 莫义朋 threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 莫义朋 having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Salik in the 62nd minute of play. Mustafa Haydar Salik took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 70th minute Mustafa Haydar Salik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 狄皓彬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 莫义朋 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 莫义朋 made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. 狄皓彬 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. ☆战国☆流星メ划破夜空的烈焰 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
