After 11 played minutes Crni Tigrovi got a freekick which was hit by Lazar Kotlar. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nebojša Jerić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crni Tigrovi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paško Kukavica in the 22nd minute. The corner led Crni Tigrovi's Paško Kukavica to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Velimir Vizek sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebojša Jerić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Velimir Vizek got free with Julio Vera in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Velimir Vizek. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velimir Vizek was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Crni Tigrovi's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nebojša Jerić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Crni Tigrovi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Agbaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Nebojša Jerić made a huge save. After 61 minutes Crni Tigrovi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velimir Vizek in the 64th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nebojša Jerić in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velimir Vizek in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Velimir Vizek made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Velimir Vizek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Crni Tigrovi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Katančić to maneuver through the defense. Renato Katančić's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Katančić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Crni Tigrovi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Renato Katančić hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Crni Tigrovi's Pompiliu Bacalbașa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Crni Tigrovi had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
