In the 9th match minute, 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Furlit to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but 巩响默 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 巩响默 was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 苏希城's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Stoimen Neshov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 苏希城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when 苏希城 got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute 苏希城 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, 高帆升 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CJ Kane hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 苏希城 was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. 高帆升 hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, 高帆升 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 高帆升 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 苏希城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 巩响默 in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 巩响默 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 朱城凡 who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in 高帆升 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 苏希城 in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stoimen Neshov hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's 苏希城. But to his dismay, 苏希城 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
