After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Iovine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amos Iovine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Teddy Team's Bruno Pocobello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Diego Marinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gargano in the 71st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amos Iovine quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Diego Marinelli. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Teddy Team's Amos Iovine got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Diego Marinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Federico Canzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
