But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If 彭博烽 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, 『挑战者』茶香竹韵，优雅永川 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史昂浩 to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 彭博烽 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The supporters of 『挑战者』茶香竹韵，优雅永川 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 彭博烽 was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 顾浩帆 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 顾浩帆 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 杨益建 hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 顾浩帆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 顾浩帆 came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind 『挑战者』茶香竹韵，优雅永川's goalkeeper 顾浩帆, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 顾浩帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. 『挑战者』茶香竹韵，优雅永川's 顾浩帆 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save 『挑战者』茶香竹韵，优雅永川 from getting a goal against them.
