In the 3rd minute, Rando Aas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduard Zinovev kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Лужники rudzov's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuriy Lunin came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Jacinto in the 9th minute of play. Yuriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Amauri Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Лужники rudzov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Evlampiy Bestuzhev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Viktor Alekseenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Drilea in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Лужники rudzov's Fabian Drilea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Лужники rudzov's Fabian Drilea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. The supporters of Лужники rudzov booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, 杜希鸿 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rando Aas's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Лужники rudzov's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuriy Lunin came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Amauri Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Лужники rudzov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Lunin having to interfere. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rando Aas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Лужники rudzov's Stepan Makarov was substituted for Viktor Alekseenko. In the 96th minute of the match Fabian Drilea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Лужники rudzov walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
