José Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Giardino in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Giardino in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd play minute Walter Giardino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 2-2. When Walter Giardino came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Giardino couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Walter Giardino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Giardino in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Giardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81st play minute Walter Giardino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 2-4. Laurence Snow might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurence Snow ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Walter Giardino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Giardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. tHe SOnS of rAGnar played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
