Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kjell Alsvik started the match with the kick off. Dalmacio Gartzea hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Alsvik got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. La Gallardeta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert to fire away a dangerous shot which Oliver Can despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute Timos Karabelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Haimar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 29th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Kjell Alsvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Timos Karabelas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Kjell Alsvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Rafael Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Haimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timos Karabelas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Oliver Can didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Haimar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Alsvik in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Alsvik in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Dalmacio Gartzea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Haimar made a great header on La Gallardeta's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Měchura, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Filip Měchura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rafael Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, La Gallardeta's Filip Měchura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Měchura in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Gallardeta had played much better football throughout.
