Arcadio Buendia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Colombia booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Garrincha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Narciso Miro's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
