Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Sasoin in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CENTAURO getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Angel Abella hit a great ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by CENTAURO's Gualterio Jayvier. But to his dismay, Gualterio Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Mannuel got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Jayvier who took care of the corner kick. If Angel Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Iker Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Abalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 36 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Abalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Sasoin in the 44th minute of the match. CENTAURO's Iker Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CENTAURO's goalkeeper Iker Abalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Victorio Argoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CENTAURO's Ramiro Estefan was substituted for Eloy Mannuel. 60 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goalkeeper Iker Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 61st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CENTAURO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Abalos quite easily take care of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iker Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CENTAURO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iker Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Iker Abalos made a huge save. In the 80th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CENTAURO made a substitution. Ceferino Frances replaced Ovidio Rivero. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by CENTAURO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CENTAURO's Iker Abalos did a great save. Iker Abalos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Santos Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 94th minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The CENTAURO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
