When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Héreg SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Héreg SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Héreg SC's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu. Răzvan Lipoveanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes Héreg SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu did a great save. After 16 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Matolcsy in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Héreg SC got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aladár Újházi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aladár Újházi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. The referee gave Héreg SC a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aladár Újházi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 1-1. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarek Grattepanche in the 36th minute of play. Simon Gervai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Honduras booed when Héreg SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Vándor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pál Matolcsy's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pál Matolcsy helped the player get up and apologised. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Héreg SC made a substitution. Dávid Szőllőssy replaced Károly Vándor. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Aladár Újházi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Răzvan Lipoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. When László Honti came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Héreg SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Honti couldn't finish the play. László Honti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Héreg SC's Maarek Grattepanche got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Héreg SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Honduras's performance. The match ended with a win for Honduras.
