Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Teo Fidensio made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st minute, Federico Xacintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Fidensio in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Fidensio in the 25th minute of play. Gualterio Fernado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Teo Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Fidensio in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When Salvador Gisbert was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Cordarryl having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Fidensio in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carmelo Cebo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Carmelo Cebo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Teo Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero. Teo Fidensio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 79th playminute. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Rafael Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Teo Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Federico Xacintu sent off a good shot on target.
