Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frasier Huber in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frasier Huber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SalentoUnited's Igor Brandenberg. Igor Brandenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Frasier Huber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Igor Brandenberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Igor Brandenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of the match. Kari Fortunin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The SalentoUnited players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Igor Brandenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Brandenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Huber in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Urbano Hotz notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SalentoUnited had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
