An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 7th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Canada's Koby Wright in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Steve De Wilde guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Steve De Wilde made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 17th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Canada's corner Rohan Watson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Steve De Wilde quite easily take care of the ball. Pan Jian Yong struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jax Williamson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions United. Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Steve De Wilde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Harris in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Koby Wright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 37th minute, Richard Mccarthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lions United's Steve De Wilde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lions United from getting a goal against them. Lions United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luka Harris 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Steve De Wilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koby Wright was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pan Jian Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Steve De Wilde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Pan Jian Yong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Pan Jian Yong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jax Williamson came out and tried to block the shot, but Pan Jian Yong slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 73rd minute. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Harris in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Burton in the 77th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Burton in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Pan Jian Yong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jax Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some careless play in the Lions United defense, Theo Burton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steve De Wilde. The Lions United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steve De Wilde should have stopped the shot. Canada's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
