The referee ignored Vestmanna FS's protests and gave Mortan Nolsøe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, one of Vestmanna FS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vestmanna FS. The referee gave Haiti a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Alphonse, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Saint Jean Pierre put in a rough tackle. 12 minutes into the game, one of Haiti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amed Olsen made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fróði Falkenberg immediately put the ball in play. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernso Constant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Alex Rói Jacobsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Gesner Philippe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gesner Philippe to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Seide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Brian Højsted. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Færø in the 74th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Vestmanna FS from getting a goal against them. Gesner Philippe's late challenge caught a Vestmanna FS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gesner Philippe helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over Haiti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vestmanna FS throughout the match.
