Darwin Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind REAL ITALIANI F.C's goalkeeper Adriano Friggieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of REAL ITALIANI F.C's Adriano Friggieri. Adriano Friggieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adriano Friggieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Bittencourt in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Friggieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Zorita during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Friggieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 79 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Friggieri. REAL ITALIANI F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Edu Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darwin Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmondo Mandelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmondo Mandelli ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Friggieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, REAL ITALIANI F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Adriano Friggieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The REAL ITALIANI F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
